Programs We Offer
Salterra OC Detox & Treatment provides individualized detox and residential addiction treatment in Orange County, California, within a private six-bed setting. Our programs are designed to meet clients where they are in the recovery process while providing continuity, structure, and personalized support as their needs change.
We offer a full range of specialized detox services to meet the needs of individuals struggling with substance use, including alcohol, fentanyl, heroin, opioids, cocaine, amphetamines, methamphetamine, benzodiazepines, and other substances. When clinically appropriate, medication-assisted treatment may also be incorporated into care. Clients who need continued support after detox may transition into our residential addiction treatment program to continue building stability and a foundation for lasting recovery.
Alcohol Detox
Our alcohol detox program provides 24/7 support and ongoing observation in a calm, private setting. Care is individualized based on each client’s withdrawal symptoms, history, and needs, with coordination with medical providers throughout the detox process.
Alcohol withdrawal can vary significantly from person to person, which is why each client’s progress is closely observed throughout stabilization. Our team supports clients as symptoms change, helps maintain comfort, and communicates with medical providers regarding ongoing care needs and provider-directed treatment.
In addition to withdrawal support, clients begin building structure early in the recovery process through orientation, therapeutic support, recovery-focused activities, and individualized treatment planning. This allows detox to serve not only as a period of stabilization, but also as the beginning of a more comprehensive recovery plan.
When detox is complete, clients who need continued support may transition into residential treatment, allowing them to continue receiving care in a familiar environment while addressing the underlying issues connected to substance use and preparing for long-term recovery.
Drug Detox
Our drug detox program provides 24/7 support and ongoing observation for individuals withdrawing from opioids, fentanyl, heroin, benzodiazepines, prescription medications, cocaine, methamphetamine, and other substances. Care is individualized based on each client’s substance-use history, withdrawal symptoms, overall needs, and provider-directed plan of care.
Because withdrawal can look very different depending on the substance involved, our team closely observes each client throughout the stabilization process and communicates with medical providers regarding symptoms, medications, and changing care needs. This coordinated approach helps support safety, comfort, and continuity throughout detox.
Clients also begin engaging in the recovery process during detox through therapeutic support, education, structured activities, and individualized treatment planning. The goal is not only to help clients stabilize physically, but also to begin identifying the emotional, behavioral, and environmental factors that can contribute to continued substance use.
For clients who need additional support after detox, residential treatment provides the opportunity to continue recovery in a familiar environment with greater structure, therapy, relapse-prevention planning, and preparation for the next level of care.
Residential Addiction Treatment
Our residential addiction treatment program provides continued structure, therapeutic support, and individualized care for clients who are ready to move beyond the stabilization phase of detox. Remaining in a supportive residential setting allows clients to focus fully on recovery while developing greater insight into the patterns, experiences, and circumstances connected to substance use.
Each client’s treatment plan is individualized according to their needs, strengths, recovery goals, and progress. Residential care may include individual and group therapy, recovery education, relapse-prevention planning, structured daily activities, and support for developing healthier coping skills and routines.
Our small six-bed setting allows for meaningful interaction with the treatment team and a more personalized experience than is often possible in larger programs. Clients are supported in developing practical tools for managing cravings, triggers, relationships, stress, and other challenges that may affect continued recovery.
As clients progress through residential treatment, our team works with them to prepare for the next stage of care. Discharge and aftercare planning may include referrals for outpatient treatment, therapy, recovery support, sober living, medical follow-up, and other services designed to help maintain the progress established during treatment.
Medically Assisted Treatment
Medication-assisted treatment may be incorporated into care for clients with opioid use disorder when clinically appropriate and ordered by an authorized medical provider. MAT combines FDA-approved medications with counseling, behavioral health services, and ongoing recovery support to help reduce withdrawal symptoms, cravings, and the risk of return to opioid use.
At Salterra OC Detox, MAT is integrated into an individualized treatment plan rather than treated as a stand-alone service. Our team coordinates closely with medical providers throughout treatment to support medication continuity, monitor client progress, and ensure that care remains aligned with each person’s clinical needs and recovery goals.
Depending on the individual and provider recommendations, medications may include buprenorphine-based options such as Suboxone, Subutex, or Sublocade. For clients beginning buprenorphine during detox, the timing and approach are determined by the medical provider based on the client’s opioid use, withdrawal symptoms, and overall clinical presentation.
Clients receiving MAT participate in the same therapeutic and recovery-focused services as other clients, including individualized treatment planning, counseling, relapse-prevention work, education, and preparation for continued care. When ongoing MAT is recommended after discharge, our team helps coordinate continuity with appropriate outpatient medical and behavioral health providers.
